Speed of wave motion: Newton’s law, Laplace’s correction. Displacement relation for a progressive waves, Principle of superposition of waves, reflection of waves.

Electric charges and Coulomb’s Law: Electric Charges; conservation of charges, Coulomb’s law-force between two point charges, forces between multiple charges; superposition principle and continuous charge distribution.
