2. Probability theory: Definitions, Addition theorem, Multiplication theorem, Conditional probability and Bayes’ theorem. Theorem of total probability – Random variables, expectation, moments, generating functions -sequences of random variables and independence of random Law of large numbers, Central limit theorem and its applications.
