Section-I: General Studies
(A) General Knowledge and Current Trends in Education
Fundamental Duties-Article-51(A) of the Constitution, Gujarati Literature, Politics and Governance (State and Country) Streams and Structure, Science and Technology, Sports and Games, Greats (Country), Music and Art, History of India, India Knowledge of geography, current trends.
(B) Teacher Aptitude (Sub-Questions)
(1) Philosophy of Education (10 Questions) (10 Marks)
Objectives of education (social, individual, specific), forms of education (formal, informal, intensive, continuous, remote), ideologies of education (idealism, naturalism, pragmatism)
(2) Educational Psychology (15 Questions) (15 Marks)
Growth and Development, Adolescence, Methods of Educational Psychology, Individual Differences, Learning, Intelligence, Defenses, Motivation, Special Children, Personality, Interest-Attitude Aptitude.
(3) Class Practice and Evaluation (10 Questions) (10 Marks)
