CGPDTM Preliminary Examination Pattern
- It is an ONLINE mode exam.
- Consist of one paper (objective type multiple choice questions) a total of 150 marks.
- The duration of the examination is 2 hours.
- Each question carries one mark
- Minimum qualifying marks in for UR:30%; OBC/EWS:25% and others:20%

CGPDTM Mains Examination Pattern
- It is an offline mode exam.
- Consist of 2 papers that are Paper –I (OMR Based) and Paper –II (Descriptive answer).
- Paper I will be 100 marks for 2 hours with objective type multiple choice questions, with each question carrying one mark.
- Paper–II will be 300 marks for a duration of 3 hours and will consist of descriptive questions based on the respective technical stream
- Paper-I and Paper-II will be assigned 80% weightage as in total for the final selection.
