Madras High Court Exam Pattern 2023

The Madras High Court offers a Graduate-level exam in Law-1 and Law-2. The exam is conducted offline in OMR mode with a total of 300 objective multiple-choice questions, divided equally between the two subjects, and a total duration of 360 minutes. The exam is available in Tamil and English languages, and there is a negative marking of -1/4 for each incorrect answer. The cutoff marks are applicable for Paper 2 only. The Main Exam is also conducted in offline OMR mode, and it is a descriptive exam that covers Law Paper-1, Law Paper-2, Translation and Essay Writing Paper, and Judgment Writing.

The total marks for the Main Exam are 400, and the total duration is 720 minutes. The cutoff marks for each subject are not specified, and candidates have to clear the overall cutoff marks to pass the exam.
